Sita Chuchura & Tukuche Peak Climbing Double Expedition

Sita Chuchura 6614m & Mount Tukuche 6920m. peak situated in the Dhaulagiri range is becoming one of the popular peaks in the area. These are a technical peak however may need to be acclimatized before you try to ascend it. Before ascending the peak, a trek to from Pokhara, Beni, Tatopani, Kalopani, Marpha and gets base camp of Tukuche peak which situated in Dhaulagiri region.

It is also possible From Pokhara, you may take a flight to Jomsom (2800m. m.) trek to Marpha, Yak Kharka, Hidden valley and Tuckche peak base camp is also enough acclimatization for climbing expedition team.

TUKUCHE (Dhaulagiri Himal - North East of Dhaulagiri) First ascent was 1969 by Swiss team.
Total 38 expeditions till to date and 19 teams had successes including 72 people summited. Last successful expedition was in autumn 2003 from France on North West Ridge.
Base Camp  5,100m
Camp I  5,600m
Camp 2 – 6,100m.
North West ridge, Most of Group using only camp 1 and camp 2 and finally make summit from camp 2 -6,100m, to make summit.

ITINERARY:

Day 01: Arrival pick up meet and greet with flower garland and transfer to hotel evening trip briefing with welcome dinner. o/n hotel.
Day 02: Trekking preparation day in kathmandu and sightseeing tour to Patan durbar Square, Bhaktapur, ChanguNarayan, o/n hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu –to- Beni (850m) drive 9 hrs (by private transportation) Overnight in Beni at Camp. 
Day 04: Babiyachaur (1750m) 6 hrs.
Day 05: Dharapani (1630m)  7 hrs.
Day 06: Muri (2200m) 6 hrs.
Day 07: Bagar (2900m) 6 ½ hrs.
Day 08: Dobhan (3800m) 6 hrs.
Day 09: Italy Camp (4325m) 7 ½ hrs.
Day 10: Dhaulagiri B.C (4750m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 11: Rest Day
Day 12: Sita Chuchura basecamp (5150m.) 6 hrs.
Day 13: Rest Day 
Day 14: High camp( about 5600m) 3/4hrs.
Day 15: Camp one(about 6000m.) 3/4 hrs. 
Day 16: Reseve day 
Day 17: Reserve day 
Day 18: Summit Sita Chuchura(6614m) and back to high camp
Day 19:Tukuche peak base camp(5165m) 5hrs.
Day 20-32: Climbing duration(Tukuche Peak 6920m)
Day 33: Yak Kharka(3680) 6hrs.
Day 34: Jomsom(2710m) 5 hrs.
Day 35: Fly back to Pokhara transfer to hotel, o/n hotel.
Day 36: Drive to Kathamndu, o/n hotel.
Day 37: Free day or Reserve day. 
Day 38: Sight seeing tour to Kathmandu durbar square, Swayambhunath or pashupathinath, evening farewell dinner. o/n hotel.
Day 39: Final departure to home, after your breakfast according to your departure time transfer to the international airport and farewell.

  • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, water bottle, hot shower during the trekking etc.)
